ABOUT BUILDING BLOCKS:
Building Blocks is a Social studies Program for Pre-K, transitional K and Kindergarten children. It addresses most of the Common Core Standards for Kindergarten ont only in social studies, but in all other curriculare areas as well. Children are taught in the way yourng children learn best--through hands-on experience, verbal and physical interaction, and expression of individual creativity. Each lesson has an accompanying theme book in the Shared Book genre with ideas for teachng or reinforcing language arts skills and making cross-curricular connections. ABOUT BUILDING BLOCKS:

It addresses most of the Common Core Standards for Kindergarten not only in Social Studies, but in all other curricular areas as well. Children are taught in the way they learn best--through hands-on experience, verbal and physical interaction, and creative expression. Each lesson has an accompanying theme book written in the Shared Book language arts genre. The books address not only the target theme, but also contain ideas for teaching and/or reinforcing Common Core Standards in other curricular areas.
